Welcome to my first post.
このブログへようこそ！
Let me introduce myself: My "name" is Mikawa Ossan. I live in the Mikawa area of Japan, and I used to joke that once I turn 30, I'll be an Ossan. Guess what...it's not as funny as it used to be... Basically, I am a guy living in Japan who just so happens to be white, and for all its imperfections, I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. This is my home, for better or for worse.
紹介します！私の「名前」は三河おっさんです。日本の三河地方に住んでいるし、３０歳になったらもうおっさんや！と冗談のつもりで昔よく言っていましたが、なんだか、今から見ればあまり面白くない気がします・・・（笑）
日本に住んでいるこの私はたまたま外国人だ、という感じなんですが、やっぱり日本がいいですかね。「住めば都」というのもあって、もう住む場所としては日本以外はちょっと想像しにくいんですが、まあ、そんな感じです。
The title of my blog is "Life is a Search in the Dark," as this just about sums up the better part of my adult life. As I post, anyone brave enough to follow along will see what I'm talking about. Enjoy my random thoughts on life, Japan, and everything else! Let us search for answers together in this darkness that is life!
社会人になってから今までの人生を要約して、このブログを「人生は暗中模索」と名づけたのです。これからのポストを読むと、その意味は分かるはずなので、 具体的な解釈をここで遠慮しますが、人生や日本生活など、私のわけのない考え事をどうぞ楽しんでください！この人生という「暗中」の中で一緒に生きていく 意味を探りましょう！よろしくお願いします！
